Confused delusion
Is this divine judgement
Questions make us question our own belief system
Tides of time roll on to this juncture
Size of space not what it had seemed
Over ground anomalies exist to us now
Accept this unexpected turn
What happens now will affect us all
Through bravery and courage could
All good things come
We are all afraid
Faces upturned we took the sky
Unknown to us we'd sealed our fate
We looked up our captors looked down
Faces upturned as we took the sky
Unbeknownst to us we'd sealed our fate
The sky opened and down looked our captors
How long will they wait what will they do with our world
This album really roots itself in modern prog metal, especially in the way the guitar work is treated. It's not fully a djent album but has some very djenty songs throughout, mixed with post-rock elements. It also happens to have some of the most gorgeous ambient moments I've ever heard in my life, evidenced by beautiful tracks like "Solstice". Another stellar knockout by Widek! Challenging Apathy
Your music connects on every level, whether it’s physical, emotional or spiritual. Impressive musicianship and song writing. Love how you leave this undefined space for us listeners to draw our own images and blend in our own personal lives when listening. Beacons is one of my favorite albums of all time! olaussem
The Indonesian act Kekal leaves no genre unturned, colliding black metal with industrial music with melodic post-rock on this stunning LP. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 25, 2023
I love how he plays around with this central idea but it's interesting and new every time. This is the album I point people to whenever I have the privilege of introducing them to Sithu Aye. tacos500
